The Time Has Come
Well, folks, this is it! All the months of waking up early and going to sleep before my friends have even decided what bar they’re going to has come down to this weekend. I just did my last morning run (I say last because I honestly don’t know if I can see myself running this early in the dark during the winter) and now the only thing left to do is pack (AHH I still need to pack, and Grey’s Anatomy is on tonight…no time left!!)
I’m waiting to check in online – five minutes to go. I know I’ve said it before, but I really am so excited about this! I’ve been reading other peoples tales of their TNT marathon and I think I should prepare myself to be emotional while running. Apparently people have up signs saying things like “Thank you for saving my life,” or “You’re running for my dad.” THings like that. I’m taking kleenix with me just for that reason.
OOOO and I can’t wait to see how this ‘sea level’ running is different from here. My lungs have adapted to being a mile high. No more huffing and puffing during my runs!! If you’re reading this and would still like to donate, feel free! Click the link on the right and donate your heart out. 🙂
Ok. Time to go check in!!!
