Early Rising

I woke up this morning at 4:15 am for some reason, but I figured maybe my body knows it has to be up around 3:30 am tomorrow (5:30 Georgia time) for me to get off my flight. Either way, I’d rather wake up now and have more of a chance to sleep on the plane(s) or at the airport tonight. That’s right, cause I’m going to see Kenny tonight (eerr…I’ll see him tomorrow, but whatever)!!!

*I should mention that this picture is of me and my brother, not Kenny and I*

And since I’m up literally before the crack of dawn, I figured I’d see what you fine readers had to say about this name change of mine going on here at The Blog.
A Lady and Her Officer. Do you like it? How about The Tales of Nappy and Beaker? (My family calls me Nappy because I like love to take naps. Kenny is Beaker because he has this coffee mug in the shape of a beaker and that’s what people at work call him—that and Beaker, from “The Muppets” is a scientist and, well, Kenny is kinda a geek!

I guess I’m just looking for something cute, clever, and catchy. Oh, how I love alliteration! And I’d like it to pertain to the adventures that I’m having (as being engaged, joining the “silent ranks,” moving from family/friends all the time, etc.) and about to have.

So what do you think? I’m open to suggestions…..please?!

I’m still doing the Friday Poll, so here are this week’s results:
Personally, I love me some ranch! Interesting to know that there really wasn’t a clear winner. Maybe that just means more people need to vote!

Since I’m doing so much traveling this weekend—and because it’s a national travel holiday:

How do you prefer to travel?
*Car
*Plane
*Train
*Boat
*Other
(p.s. you can choose multiple answers this time!)

Okay, that’s all I have for the time being. I need to pack!

  1. Yay! Traveling time! That’s an insane hour to be up though…that’s for sure.

I think the name you have now is cute.
Beaker..that’s fun..I love those two from the Muppets.

  2. I think nappy and beaker is cute and original.

And I prefer to travel by air. Although it’s more expensive, its so much faster and less chance of me getting lost or a speeding ticket.
