Two of my very close friends are tying the knot today. Yup, after 10 (count that, TEN!) years they’re finally saying, “I do” in front of their closest friends and family. And I can’t wait to see that happen!
This picture was from their rehearsal dinner last night and was one of the few pictures I captured. I can’t wait to celebrate with them and all my friends. I have a busy day ahead of me:
After I publish this post I’m gonna go shower, shave the legs, *hopefully* find a place where I can get a pedicure, come back home and get my bridesmaid’s dress, makeup, accessories, and the shoes; then I’m heading over to my friend’s house to get our hair did.
She and I will then race over to the bride’s house to meet the rest of the bridal party. From there we’re taking a “party” bus to the ceremony site where we’ll warm up our voices and practice the song we’re all singing. The ceremony will go on without a hitch. There will be singing, laughing, and lots of tears of joy (and tears from my cold – it’s making me tear up every couple minutes!).
And then…oh and then…it’s time for the party!!!
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the shoes are actually not as bad as I feared them to be! I’m still taking flip flops to change into at the reception, but I think I’ll be able to hack it during the ceremony and pictures!
Hope you all have a great day!
Planning a wedding is a pain in the butt, but the actual day is amazing. How exciting for your friends. And you! I hope you had a great time. 🙂
wow congrats to the cute couple!! 10 years is a LONGGG time!!
