STD

Before I start talking about my STDs I should probably mention that in wedding lingo, Save The Dates are broken down into the acronym: STD. So don’t freak out! I’m sexually-transmitted-disease free. Whew. I’m glad we got that out of the way.

While I loved all of our engagement pictures, I was definitely partial to a few of them more than others. So much so that I started imagining how to incorporate them for all the world our friends and family to see.

And since I’m admitting things—like not having an STD—I should also mention that I did a little wedding browsing before I had the ring on my finger. I fell head over heels for this:

Oh, I still love that one! After I got engaged I saw these that I really liked:

And then I fell in love with this thanks to Mrs. Pineapple over at weddingbee.com:

So, thanks to my awesome best friend and maid of honor, check out what she whipped up and designed for us:

I’m so in love with these that I can’t stop looking at them! But here’s my dilemma: how do we print them? Do we do it postcard style and hope people put them on their refrigerators to actually save the date? Do we send the bottom image just as a picture and make mini business-card sized magnets for the legs picture? Your ideas are more than welcome on this.

So what do you think?

Oh My Gosh. How cute are those! I'm so loving them! However..I am no help on what to do, as I didn't do save the dates, but I know you'll figure something out.

Can I just say the STD title shocked me for a sec? 🙂

Those are so cute! I really like them. People will definitely save them if you do it postcard style – it's a pic of you guys! I would say it depends on how much you want to spend. Sending both with one as a magnet will cost more, but it you have it in the budget then go for it!

Oh! You could do the idea of the last one, but in the film strip you can use the idea of the first one 🙂 Two for one! Those are quite awesome. I have an idea for ours that I got from some add for something completely unrelated to weddings, I'm just not sure how well it will pan out haha!

I really like the second one. I think the combo of what you like. I also like all the dates on them very personal. I think if you make it postcard like you could mail it as it.

I don't know about sending them or whatnot but I had to tell you how cute I thought they were.

A friend sent hers as magnet sized business cards and I loved it! I think the second one as magnets would be super cute.

hey, I'm Jess!
I'm an Air Force wife and mom with three kids currently living in Germany. I'm always planning our next trip and feeding my hungry family with easy meals. If I'm not doing one of those two things, you'll probably find me drinking a second cup of coffee, reading a book, or taking a nap.

I'm so happy you're here!
