This is Not a Clever Title
Before I start rambling, I have two things to say. If you haven’t seen either of the following shows I need you to stop reading this, find out when they’ll be on and watch them, immediately. I think these are two of the funniest things on TV right now.
I’m currently watching “Whatever, Martha,” which is a show with Martha Stewart’s daughter and a friend who just make fun of Martha the entire time. It’s hilarious in the most wonderful way. I’m wishing “My Big Redneck Wedding” was on right after this.
Oh, what’s that? You’ve never heard of My Big Redneck Wedding? Well, I don’t think I even need to tell you what that one’s about. Let me just say that my favorite episode is a toss-up between the one where the groom wantedāand madeāan arch made out of beer cans or the one where the girl couldn’t find her teeth on her wedding day. (Oh, fantastic! They just said that there’s another “Whatever, Martha” on after the one I’m watching!)
Ah. Good times. Ya know what else is a good time? Twitter. Yup, I said it. I think I’m getting hooked on tweeting. I just figured out I can text a tweet from my phone and now I’m addicted, so I think my next step is to figure out how to put my twitter on this blog.
And before you leave my blog today (tomorrow?!) I’d also like to direct you over to Your Life is a Trip, because yours truly is a contributor and my first piece is posted up there right now!
Also, while I was out shopping today for the magazine I saw something that caught my eye. Usually I’m pretty good with the self control and can “just say no.” But not this time. Check out the latest top to enter my closet:It’s called Thrown-A-Curve Halter from Anthropologie and I spent way more on it than I needed to, but I have a plan. I’m not going to wear it until I’ve lost 15 pounds, which is only two pounds away! Hopefully that will happen by the 4th of July, because I can’t wait to wear this out in Georgia!
Ok, my big redneck wedding – i have a couple favorite scenes – the beer can arch is definitely a keeper. then there's the mattress surfing, the one where the brother and "sister" got married – the part where the mother talked about birth control in the form of saran wrap and a bow….ahh, i could watch that show for hours! lol.
"Whatever, Martha" is hilarious! It's one of my favorite shows!
Congrats on the new writing gig!
