With This Ring (part 4)

I just posted this over at Through My Eyes, but wanted to continue showing you the saga of creating my ring.

Remember that maroon wax mold from last time? Well, this is what it looks like when it’s created in white gold:

This is *almost* my ring. The jeweler accidentally made it 14 karat instead of 18. Personally, I find it remarkable that he even said something, because otherwise nobody would’ve ever known.

He’s going to remake it while I’m on vacation and I then I’m going to add three “baby” diamonds to each white gold side; he’ll then shave them down a little so it won’t look so thick. Then, a few days before the wedding he’ll solder them all together!

So what do ya think?

  1. Lovely! šŸ™‚ I wish I could find someone around here to do that for me without making us pay a bajillion dollars. Bajillion's just aren't in our budget!
