108 Days and Counting

You may have noticed that I haven’t talked about the wedding in awhile. Lately I’ve been so busy with other stuff (traveling, being sick, working) that wedding planning hasn’t been a priority.

But have no fear! I should finish one of my work projects at the end of the week and then my focus will be on lots of DIY projects I have. It’s funny; when I got engaged 12 months seemed like it would never pass. But now I’m down to less than three months, so all of that “time” I had is quickly ticking by.

Here’s a sneak peak of the things we’re going to start working on:

Cupcake Flags:
(no idea where that picture’s from)

Crossword Puzzle (for the cocktail hour):

Favors:
Guestbook:
(no idea where I got these photos – sorry!)

Pomanders:
Photo upload cards:

And while I’m working on most of the above, Kenny will be in the garage making our wedding box!

So much to do! The best news of the day is that I’m feeling better 🙂 I can’t wait to get started on some of the above. Did you, or are you planning on, doing any DIY projects for your wedding?

  1. Ohhhhhhhhhh I LOVE you box idea! I have never heard of that but I like it some much better than the candle or sand. I have made a mental note!

Also (even though I'm not even close to getting married, nor do I even have a serious BF! lol) I went to a wedding were both the bride and groom lost a parent to cancer, so our favors was a little poem telling us a dollar on our behalf was donated to the Leukemia and lymphoma Society. I thought that was great idea, and I will be doing the same at my wedding but to The American Stroke Foundation, in my dads name! 🙂 But the hot coco looks soooo pretty!

  2. How fun! I love all of those ideas. Especially the cupcake things and the hot cocoa mix!!! Oh and the puzzle! What wonderful ideas. I just read the box idea, I seriously wanted to cry that is such a sweet idea!!!! You are so creative! I can't wait to see how it all turns out. And I am glad your feeling better.
