A Flick When Sick

The lack of comments from my last post makes me think you guys don’t like hearing about sore throats and silly things called uvulas. Fine, fine.

I’m still sick today, but I’m fighting through it. Kenny is seriously being beyond fantastic and I can’t wait to start calling him my husband. He’s been making me tea, breakfast, dinner; he drew me a bath and has cleaned the house. Basically he’s just going above and beyond to make sure I’m feeling okay, and I think he’s sad he can’t snap his fingers and make me magically feel better.

Since I’m still achy today I’m taking a break from working in my office and instead I’m relaxing and working on my work from the couch with my lap top on my…well…lap, and I’m watching The Notebook.

I’ve mentioned before that my favorite love story comes straight out of a Nicholas Sparks book/movie, but I think it’s also one of my top five favorite movies. It’s also the perfect flick to watch when I’m feeling under the weather.

So I wanna know, what movie do you like to watch when you’re not feeling 100 percent?

  1. Hey I'm new to your blog! I found your feeling sick blog when I was sick! I still am sick too! Yucky! But I love watching Disney movies! I don't know why but they make me feel so much better. I don't have to think to hard, and I have already seen them a 100 times each so it's ok if I fall asleep during!

  2. You poor thing! Feel better soon! I love that he takes such good care of you too, it's so sweet.

I love to watch any love stories when I am sick; Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, a Walk to Remember and of course the Notebook! One of my newer favorites is The Holiday it's so cute!

  3. I love reality TV, so when I'm sick it's always something I turn on and look for. Also Transfromers, or 50 First Dates, both because they have amazing memories. With all my knee surgeries, it's all about watching 'box set seasons'…. Desperate Housewives (3 seasons worth), CSI (3 seasons worth), NCIS (2 seasons worth)….

  4. Oh my gosh, I meant to comment on your FB status this morning and say "The Notebook"! I also love watching Legally Blonde too or PS. I love you!

  5. That's great that you have someone there to take such good care of you when you're feeling under the weather. As I mentioned before on your tweet, I've never seen the movie. When I don't feel well I usually watch Grease 2 or a movie called Shag.
