Yesterday you saw my vision for an office and today you get to see the whole shebang. I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out, and I can see myself writing many articles at that desk. The room is full of things I like and pictures of people I love, which is the perfect environment for happy—and hopefully productive—writing.
(I’m a big fan of chick lit, so those are most of the books in the case. On top of the bookshelf is a piece of art my cousin created out of scrap metal, and to the right of that is a picture my friend Mike drew for me of Venice.)
(I bought this shelf from Target last year after having my eye on it for several months. It’s shorter than I thought it’d be, but I like it all the same. For the moment, most of the pictures I brought with me have a home on that bookcase, but they’ll be moving around once I get more shelving—it looks cluttered to me at the moment.)
The desk I bought is a corner desk, so taking pictures of it is difficult. I like feeling cosy when I write, and having a corner desk makes me feel comfy. (Kenny gave me a stuffed animal “bed bug” once and he must have found it in all my boxes, because it was sitting on my desk this morning when I went to take pictures)

My super comfy chair 🙂
This is wall decor that I bought a long time ago with no place to put it, and now that I’ve found a home for it I love it even more.
As promised, here are some pictures of my house in Georgia. I’m missing pictures from two rooms: my office and Kenny’s office. Hopefully I can get pictures of my office…
Now that I’m officially back on American soil, I think it calls for a celebration (and in blog land, a celebration means a giveaway)! But first I want to gab…
This post is long, long, long overdue. Much like this baby of mine who apparently has no desire to make her grand entrance into this world. Okay, she’s really not…
And just like that, we closed one chapter of our life’s story and we’re starting a new one. Last week was packing and moving week for our family, and it…
With baby numero dos on its way, I realized it’s time to stop procrastinating and start blogging! I have a few more things to share about Julia’s nursery, so it’s…
I cannot tell you how jealous I am of your corner desk and comfy chair! Once I get our 3rd bedroom / library / office cleaned up I will have to take a picture of my sad chair so you can pity me. :-p
I think you should be able to do tons of work in that space!
Ooooh your office looks so fab! I love the shelf from Target that you have pictures on…so freakin cool! I'd be spending way too much time in the office if I had one like this!

Gorgeous! Do I spot something from Philadelphia on the bulletin board? That almost looks like the 'Love' from Love Park
