Well, Helllllooooo!

The first thing I said to myself when I woke up this morning was this:

“Well, hellllllooooooo single digits!”

Yup. We’re peaking our heads around the corner, because in LESS THAN 10 days we’re getting married! By the way, there are a few more milestones just like this one coming up (one week till the wedding is Saturday, our one year engagementversary is on Sunday, etc.), so you may see repeat posts.

But this is about it being NINE days till the big day. Nine days means that the 10-day forecast

Side note: Dear God, please, please, please, give us a beautiful, non-windy, sunny, slightly warm day! *end side note*

So far, my prayers are right on track. Don’t believe me? See for yourself:
finally includes our wedding day, and that means I can finally start stalking the weather. While the east coast is getting slammed with blizzard-like conditions, the weather over here in the Sunny Southwest is warming up.

Take a closer look and let’s see what’s in store for the twentieth:

Not too shabby! Schfifty five is way better than 35 or 45 degrees and a 20 percent chance of rain is definitely better than snow showers!

I know the chances of the weather changing is very likely, but I have an optimistic outlook on this one!

What was the weather like on your wedding day?

it was actually raining in the morning before everyone got to the church .. and then BEAUTIFUL for our Saber Arch.

As you saw on my blog, the sun was shining!! So I guess a lil bit of rain was for good luck!

Hope you're having a good week!! PS the updates aren't working since it's been set to private. :- I really don't like being private, but it just came along with it!

I got married on a hot September Texas day. We were even forbidden from turning on the AC until an hour before the wedding. It was horrible!

Looks like greeat weather. We were on a rollar coaster weather-wise. First it was hot, then it was going to rain, it ended up being windy and a little cool for an August day, but at least we got to have our wedding outdoors and the pictures turned out beautiful.

Congratulations, your on the home stretch now! Enjoy every minute of it! I'm sure you will have GREAT weather, but even if you don't, all that matters is when you say "I do."

The day before our wedding there might as well have been a tornado in Cruces, it was windy and yucky, but our wedding day was BEAUTIFUL! We had it outside and I can remember standing in front of our family and friend with my now hubby just taking in what a beautiful day it turned out to be. Everything after that moment is a total blur.

One piece of advice: try to take a moment, maybe during the ceremony when your not really listening to anything the pastor is saying, and take a mental picture, soak it all in because you won't remember anything else. 🙂

Excuse me while I silently curse you in our foot of snow…

Holy crap! Single digits! I can't even imagine. Are you freaking out? Super excited? I am definitely praying for amazing weather for you. Although I have to admit, 55 degrees would make me shrivel up and die. Can't take a So Cal girl away from the warmer temps here 🙁

The weather was really similar the day we got married, except I think the temperature went up into the mid-60's. It was *extremely* windy! Everybody else was freezing, and had coats on for the outdoor ceremony, but I felt perfectly comfortable in my sleeveless dress. In hindsight I was glad it stayed a little cooler, or else I probably would've had pit stains from all the sweating! hehe 🙂

Yay single digits! Your day will be gorgoeous and wonderful. I can't wait to see you in your dress all pretty!

hey, I'm Jess!
I'm an Air Force wife and mom with three kids currently living in Germany. I'm always planning our next trip and feeding my hungry family with easy meals. If I'm not doing one of those two things, you'll probably find me drinking a second cup of coffee, reading a book, or taking a nap.

I'm so happy you're here!
