Friday Fill-In (on Thursday)
Here are my answers to Wife of a Sailor’s questions:
What is your spouse’s best feature? Oh, that would have to be his eyes. His eyes are never one specific color—they match whatever shirt he’s wearing or the environment around him. We were at the beach once and I swear I’ve ever seen such a shade of blue. I could (and have) stare at his eyes for hours. (Heh…sorry for the cheesiness!)
Mild, Medium or Hot sauce? Mild and hot! Let me explain: I LOVE hot and spicy flavors and try to add some heat to whatever I’m eating. But with that said, I kinda have a thing for Taco Bell’s mild sauce…I eat (slurp it?) straight from the package.
What is the worst uniform you had to wear for a job? During high school and college I worked at a local pizza restaurant and the uniform was a bright yellow polo with a red baseball cap and a red apron. Honestly, I didn’t mind the uniform as much as I hated how the pizza, subs, and salad scents lingered on the clothes even after I washed them.
You have invisible powers… where is the first place you would go? I would personally hate being invisible. I love talking to people and knowing that I’m experiencing something with others around me.
What’s left on your “to do” list for this summer? Funny you should ask! I actually have a list of 101 things I need to work on 🙂
I filled mine out today too, but left it to post tomorrow. I completely hear where you're coming from with the pizza uniform! I worked at a pizza place, but we had jeans and a black t-shirt with the logo on it, so it wasn't bad. That smell never left! We were able to wear jeans, and I had to get jeans specifically for work, because you just could not wear them anywhere!
ALSO, I went to your links page and completely stalked some of the 101 lists to work on my next one [which is 101 on my list!] Good luck with working on it the rest of the summer!
Man I hated my Sonic uniform from when I was 16. I think most food places uniforms are icky.
I love your header–it's so sweet! Good luck on your 101 list. That's ambitious!
