Friday Eve things
Here are my answers to Wife of a Sailor’s Friday Fill-in questions:
What is the silliest get-up you have ever worn outside of a Halloween party? It’d have to be something from the 80s. Actually, it was for my third grade picture day. I wore this horrible neon, paint splashed jumpsuit/overall outfit. It was really, really bad. No wonder those years were so awkward for me!
What is something that you gave up in order to live the military lifestyle? My family. Coming from an extremely tight-night group of cousins, aunts, and unclesānot to mention my immediate familyāit’s extremely difficult to be so far away.
If money wasnāt a factor and you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? And why? Hmmm, my first thought is that I’d go home š But my second thought is that I’d go to Antarctica! How cool would that be? I’d also like to go somewhere exotic like Bali and stay at one of those shacks sitting directly over the crystal blue water. Then again, I think I’d like to check out Africa and see natural wildlife there. Okay, so I guess my final answer is this: I’d want my own chartered planeāthat I don’t have to pay forāand free hotel rooms wherever I go. Then, I would literally travel around the world. And since this is all hypothetical, my husband would travel along with me and wouldn’t get in trouble for going AWOL š
If you were going to join the military, what branch would you join? Or which MOS/rating would you choose? I wouldn’t.

I am cracking up at your outfit!
I keep hearing about Taco Soup. I think this may be something I need to try out!
Hahaha, in my third grade picture, I wore a denim dress with a pink faux leather belt, and instead of round little holes for the buckle, there were huge heart-shaped holes. I believe I also had gigantic pink plastic glasses, too, and an 80s mullet haircut. Hot.
Stopping by from "Amanda & Don's Saturday Around the world". Adorable blog…now following (from Spokane, WA)! And I love the recipes you posted…Pioneer Woman is one of my favorite blogs.
Looking forward to reading more from you!
My answer to #2 was the same. I have a LARGE family and it's the hardest thing, being away from them. But thats what you do for love I suppose š
