Holiday Cards!

My husband and I have been together for just about five years, but this is our very first Christmas as a married couple, and I couldn’t be more excited to decorate our home and start some holiday traditions.

And speaking of traditions, I absolutely plan on sending out holiday letters each year, and if we can get our act together, we’re going to have a family photo session (me, him, and the pup) for our cards, too. We already had our eyes set on a card design we saw at Barnes and Noble, but that was before Shutterfly came into our life.

I’m completely smitten with their Christmas cards:

mod love.

warm wishes.

Then again, this next idea is extremely appealing. They have holiday story cards so you can put your letter right there on the card. How clever is that?

top ten moments
Christmas letter.

I love the variety and flexibility Shutterfly has with adding your own photos into keepsake cards.

What are you doing for your Christmas cards this year? And if you’re writing a letter, have you started? My goal is to send our cards out by the second week of December, which means I better start getting my act together!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post and I will receive 50 free photo cards for writing it. The content and opinions are my own.

  1. I love the top 10 moments card! We had out pics taken a couple weeks ago for our holiday card. I'm just waiting to get them back, so I can start designing 🙂

  2. I order personalized cards, because with my name, the hubby's and all 3 kids, my hands would be falling off before I was even halfway done! LOL So, I order personalized cards and then include a pic of the kids together. There are one or 2 people that I actually write a "letter" to give them an update on things for the last year.

  3. I actually love the ideas you posted with Shutterfly templates 🙂 Shtterfly is fun and I think it totally brings out your fun personality! P.S. I missed you by 1 weekend in the 505. I'm going back THIS weekend 🙁
