Together at Last: My Man and His Men

This post is part of my wedding recap series. Missed something and want to catch up? Click here for links to past “Together at Last” posts.

While the ladies were upstairs getting all prime and proper, the men were downstairs in the chapel putting the final touches on their look.

From what I understand, one groomsman was running a wee bit late (in other words, had I known how late he actually was, there would’ve been some crazy bridezilla action going on over on my end), so while they were waiting for him to show up, they took some photos outside the chapel.

Don’t let those good-looking men in fancy schmancy tuxes fool you. Boys will still be boys no matter what they’re wearing…

Once they had their fun it was back to business inside. Business apparently includes a drink…

While I’m sure they wished that was real champagne, it was really just sparkling cider. Hey! Shouldn’t the groomsmen be serving the groom?

Ah, there we go! I’m curious who he’s talking to on the phone, because it’s definitely not me. We decided that we wouldn’t talk the morning of our wedding (we actually texted each other a few times here and there, but don’t tell my maid of honor!)

I like to imagine what my husband’s face looks like in this photo. Does he look nervous? Excited? Pensive? I really like this photo for what it doesn’t show.

After they enjoyed their drinks they finished getting ready:

The letter they’re passing around will come to play later; it has to do with our wedding box

 Hmmmm…what are they looking at?
Aha! Fun socks! Now why didn’t I think of that? I love that he wore pink to match our color scheme.
Once their boutineers were in place they were off for a few pictures in the courtyard.
These guys have all been friends since grade school!
Then it was time for a few pictures of my man with his parents and grandma who came in for the wedding from Texas. I’m a little bit curious where the rest of his family was for these pictures (sister and brother-in-law, other set of grandparents, etc.); we did take more pictures after the wedding, but still…
And last, but certainly not least, my favorite little man of the entire wedding party:

  1. What fabulous memories <3 I also love the one where he's holding the glass but you can't see his face… very nice thinking on the photographers part!
