Sedona, Arizona {part two}

We took a road trip to Sedona, Arizona! Check out part one here.

The next morning we woke up bright and early and headed over to Ken’s Creekside to chow down on some grub. We give them two giant thumbs up from us for their tasty food and giving our bodies plenty of fuel until lunchtime! After stuffing ourselves full with the Sedona Breakfast Burrito (for me) and the Southwest Eggs Benedict (for him) we were on our way for a morning of hiking around the Red Rocks!

It was another gorgeous day and the colors surrounding us just popped everywhere we looked. The trail we followed was scattered with cacti and I loved the different shapes they formed.

Like I said, the views were breathtaking. We even saw some wildlife! While I was praying we didn’t come across any snakes—I’ve been fact-to-face with a rattlesnake before and really didn’t feel like seeing one again—we did see some rabbits and lots of lizards.

But we kept our eyes glued to the landscape around us.

I cheated. This one is actually from my car…

After our hike we spent the rest of the day in downtown Sedona checking out some fun tourist stores, wine tasting, and more eating. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and I’ll remember the sights forever.
