I know everyone says this, but I swear the older I get the
faster time flies. I can’t fathom that it’s actually the end of the year. And
let’s not even start talking about the fact that I’m turning 28 in less than a
month.
Next year my blog is turning seven years old, and I can
honestly say that I absolutely love writing here year after year. While I write things that
interest me, I also definitely keep you in mind. I’m continually floored
so many of you read this, even if you just lurk around here and keep mum instead of
comment. Please know that I read and love every single comment and email I receive!
Last year I did a “year in review” based on the top
posts, so I thought it’d be fun to do it again. You may have read them the
first time around (thanks!), but in case you’re new or missed a post or two,
here they are:
I absolutely, positively LOVE Warby Parker and their glasses. Thanks for everyone’s input on what specs I should pick—I actually end up buying the “Zagg” pair and I love wearing them every day!
Ah, I still love this project! It’s basically exactly what it sounds like—all of the Five for Friday posts compiled into one book as a first-anniversary present for my husband!
You guys really liked the post from Venice! I’m still shocked we’re so close to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. In fact, we’re spending New Year’s Eve there, so hopefully I’ll have a great post when we get back!
(I somehow ended up with 11 posts—whoops! I clearly deal with words, not numbers!) This post was so much fun to write! To be honest, I was terrified the military would change its decision at any second and I’d have to write a sad follow-up post. Luckily, everything worked out and here we are, living in Italy!
But wait! That’s not all! Since this is the only time I can toot my own blogging horn, here are a few more of my personal favorite posts from Twenty Eleven:
Wow, it’s been awhile. With the exception of my Five for Friday posts, it’s been a little quiet around here lately. I’ve even had a few tweets and emails asking…
In a few short months everything in my life will change. I hate to be so dramatic, but it’s true. And instead of having this terrified, uneasy feeling—similar to how…
I picked up a couple of awards over the past week and now I finally have time to post them! I know there are “rules” and things I’m supposed to…

I love your "year in review" – just hope I will be here next year to read 2012 in review! And I can hardly wait to see more pictures of Venice. What a wonderful adventure we all are having, following your adventures in Italy. Keep up the good work!
I always say I'm going to keep track of pictures or posts for a year in review, and you know what: in 2012 I think I really am! What a fun list and I remember most of those posts… the other ones, I'll have to check out (and of course re-read the ones I remember and relish in your year in review!)
