Dear Friday

Dear Fall, I’m so glad you’re here. Please feel free to stick around as long as possible.
Dear husband, I got to see your face yesterday, which pretty much made my day week month. Four months without you is entirely too long. I hope the next two go by really, really, really fast.
Dear Pickles, I know I say this all the time, but it really brings me so much comfort and joy when I feel you move around. Also, I’m sorry for poking my belly in an attempt to make you kick me back. I don’t think I’d like it if someone was poking me all the time, so I’ll try to keep that to a minimum.
Dear fellow bloggers, I’m trying to make more of an effort to comment, reply, and follow your blogs. I really miss interacting with you guys, so I’m trying harder.
Dear fellow bloggers (times two), Please, please, PLEASE turn off your word verification setting. Blogger does a pretty darn good job of filtering out spam comments. Those captchas are crazy hard to read, and I sometimes spend more time squinting and trying to decipher an “i” from a “a” than I do writing my comment!
Dear milkshakes and ice cream, I can’t get enough of you. It’s probably a really good thing I’m not in America now, because I would basically live at Chick-fil-A, Dairy Queen, and Cold Stone. We may have awesome gelato here, but this baby doesn’t want any of it. It wants good ol’ fashioned American ice cream.

Hope you all have a great weekend! I’ll be back tomorrow with a bumpdate 🙂

  1. AMEN on word verification checks! And I am also in an ice-cream addiction stage right now myself. We've had a few fall days too and I love it. The best season!

  2. I totally get you on word verification. After I began making the effort to really comment on blogs again I realized how awful it was and made sure that I turned mine off! And it's funny you mention milkshakes because I was just telling a friend about Route 66 Diner in Albuquerque and their amazing shakes… how I miss that Pink Cadillac! MmmmMMmmm… diet suicide.
