#PhotoADayDec

Well how ’bout that, a new post on the first day of the new year. That’s pretty spiffy of me, if I do say so myself! I’m here with my final #PhotoADay post (for now). I technically started this 365 photo-a-day project in February, but once I looked into it, I did take a picture every day in January. Go me! I think I’ll just put the January pictures on the Facebook page, so keep an eye out for them there.

This isn’t the first time I’ve taken a photo every day for a year. Back in 2009 I also did the project (see them here at Through My Eyes). Did I actually take a picture every single day both years? No way! I skipped a lot of days and caught up when I could. It’s a good feeling to accomplish something like this and it’s fun to look back on. Now I just need to figure out what to do with all of these photos; I’m thinking about making a Blurb book out of them…someday.

Using my iPhone this time around made it a lot easier and less stressful to accomplish, and having prompts each month made it nice, but I think I’ll take a break from this in 2013 and just focus on taking pictures because I want to. I didn’t use my real camera very much this year and I want to focus on taking more pictures with it in the coming months.

With all that said, here are the 31 photos from December:

Photo descriptions and larger versions of each picture are on the JLW Facebook page, so head on over and “like” your favorite! (edit: I’m having an issue uploading these to FB, so I’ll update the link when I’m able to get them up.)

Have you ever done a “Project 365,” or are you planning on participating this year?
