Bumpdate: 41 Weeks and a Recap

I know, I know, I already had the baby a month ago and I’m sure you’re all tired of seeing these pictures of me, but I’m playing catch up this week. (Although, let’s be honest, I’ll be playing catch up for awhile.) Now that my stomach is deflating—awesome visual, right?—I thought it’d be fun to see the progression of how my bump grew.

I’m really glad I documented the progression and I think my daughter will like seeing them when she’s older. The plan is to put all of the bumpdates into a book.

But seriously, holy cannoli! It’s amazing how much my body transformed over those 10 months. It’s even crazier how “big” I thought I was at 24 weeks. Ha! If I only knew the great lengths my stomach would be able to stretch week by week.

22, 23, 24, and 25

26, 27, 29, and 30

31, 32, 33, and 34

35, 36, 37, and 38
39 and 40

And, for my final (tear) bumpdate (from 3.8.2013):

Thanks for coming along this journey with me!

  1. So fun! My belly just started to pop the past couple of weeks (17 weeks now) but it is still teeny tiny in comparison to what I know it will look like at the end of the summer. This would look great documented in a book. I love the letters you include to your daughter, too.

  2. I love all these pictures, and you were one stylish pregnant lady! (I'm sure you are a stylish mama now.)
