Finish This {round three}
Well, hello there! I hope you’ll pardon the fact that this is a scheduled post. I love these prompts and filled it out before we left on our vacation. Hopefully we’re having a fantastic time on our cruise right now.
1. I plan on buying…a mug from Nassau, Bahamas. I haven’t blogged about this yet (it’s on my never-ending list of things to write about), but we collect funky and fun mugs from the places we travel to. We basically find and buy the most gaudy and touristy mug, because it’s awesome to have a fun keepsake (and it’s awesome to search for them, too). We have one for every city we traveled to in Europe and I think it’d be nice to continue the tradition when we travel outside of America!
2. I give Frosty’s and French Fries five stars because…um…hello! First, those two are delicious on their own, but combine them and fireworks practically explode overhead. The key is to getting fresh fries (they need to be firm—flopsy ones will still work, just not nearly as well) and dipping them into your Frosty like a spoon. You have the salty and sweet combo immediately mingling with the cold and hot sensations. It’s simply amazing and I almost wish I was pregnant so I’d have an excuse to ask beg make my husband to go to Wendy’s right now.
3. I felt courageous when…I gave birth. No, it wasn’t “natural” (I definitely had an epidural), but I PUSHED OUT A 9+ POUND BABY ON MY OWN! Pardon the screaming, but if that’s not courageous, I don’t know what is. Looking back on it, I’m still shocked I pushed for three and a half hours and managed to get her out. Okay, I’m sure there are a lot of more courageous things out there, but with an upcoming birthday on my mind, I’m pretty proud of that accomplishment.
4. I feel about swimsuit shopping like I do…going to the dentist. I absolutely don’t look forward to it, and sometimes put it off as long as I can, but in the end it’s not that bad. I hate the actual “trying on” part, but if you can find a good suit that you feel good in, well that’s priceless. (Actually, they can come with some pretty pricey tags, so it’s not priceless at all.) I’m just happy that I finally know what type of suit I feel the most comfortable in (halter with ruching along the stomach and a retro-fit bottom, please), so that cuts the shopping time down significantly.
I love love love frostys and french fries…glad to know I'm not the only one since Chris thinks I'm crazy!!!
I think anytime a baby comes of of the body it is natural epidural or not so be very very proud as it is very courageous!
I was always a little dubious about the frosty's + french fries combo until I tried it – SO GOOD.
