The Georgia Snowpocalypse: Don’t Eat Yellow Snow

I’m not sure if you heard, but last week we got a little bit of snow down here. It was very obvious that the south doesn’t know what to do with weather like this, because people freaked out. Schools in the area, the base, and stores shut down (some even closed before the storm hit). Apparently several grocery stores also ran out of water and bread in some parts—it was a little cray cray. We didn’t get that much of the white stuff, well, at least not with horrible ice like they got up in Atlanta. Instead, we just had a nice snow day!

Pardon the picture overload, but my I figured a little person’s first snow day deserved its own post. We bundled Julia up in her little monkey suit and let her play around in it for a little while. Then we went on a walk around our neighborhood and enjoyed the day off.

Oh yes, and we had to teach Julia not to eat the yellow snow. Thanks a lot, Bella!

  1. Her little snow suit is too cute! I wish we had cute playing in the snow pictures but Minnesota has been too dang cold this year. 🙁
