Hi, hello. Hello, hi.
There’s this hashtag on Instagram called Friday Introductions, where people basically say hello to all the people seeing their feed, and they give a few short fun facts about who they are. Since it’s been awhile since I’ve done anything like that on here, I figured the first day of May, which is coincidentally a Friday, would be a great day for a blog version of #FridayIntroductions!

So, hi. I’m Jessica. My friends call me, “Jess,” my daughter calls me, “Mama,” and my husband calls me, “Hey you!” Just kidding; he calls me, “Lovey,” along with a whole lot of other mushy pet names. I actually have two daughters, but the littlest only wiggles, giggles, and cries at the moment. Julia (two years old), was born in Italy, and Madilyn (almost 3 months) is a Georgia Peach. My husband and I both hail from New Mexico and we’re extremely ready to live there again some day. Right now we’re southern transplants, surviving the humidity and mosquitoes as best we can.
I’m a military wife thanks to my husband’s job with the Air Force. I’m blessed to have friends from around the world, and for the opportunity to live in new places every few years. We’ve been living in Georgia for the past (almost) two years, and we’re ready to move on to our next station…only problem is that the USAF has other plans, and we’ll probably be here for another two years or so.

In one of my favorite places, Burano, Italy (blog post coming soon!) |
Traveling is one of my favorite things; I have a wanderlust soul and I love seeing new places. I’ve lived in England (study abroad) and Italy (Air Force), and have traveled to dozens of countries as well as three continents. It’s been two years since I’ve added a stamp to my passport, though, and I’m already missing European travel.
What else? I like my coffee the color of sand and to taste delicious (basically, some sort of flavor needs to be in it); I would take a nap every single day if I had the time for one, and I have strong feelings of love for plain ol’ ice water. I really enjoy reading when I have the time, taking a warm bubble bath is my favorite way to end a long week, and I still listen to Maroon Five’s Songs About Jane on repeat.
That’s pretty much me in a quick, little nutshell, but if you want to know more about me you should read the following:

I’m linking up with Belinda over at Found Love, Now What. She has prompts to blog every day in May! I like the idea, but I truthfully don’t know if I’ll be able to blog every single day. At least I’m starting out on the right foot! Also linking up for the MilSpouseBlogHop!
Now that you know a bit about me, I’d love to hear about you! My challenge for you: leave a short, two sentence introduction about yourself in the comments!!
Songs About Jane never gets old! My freshman year roommate and I used to play it over and over…it was so bad the guys below us barged into our room, got down on their knees, and begged us to please play ANYTHING else.
I love that Burano picture! We still haven't been there. We keep trying, but the last few times we've been to Venice we've had visitors so we always end up spending all our time on the main island. We'll make it there one of these days.
I'd love to take a nap daily too.
That first picture is precious.
I love your blog. I need to play catch up since I haven't had time for reading or blogging.
Hi! I'm Julie. Been hopskipping around the world since I was born, a Brazilian now living in Singapore so that I can explore South East Asia. New to your blog 🙂

I'm Allie, I've been reading your blog for ages but I am a terrible commenter! I am married to an active duty Marine, I love acting and blogging, and I work in a library on base to help pay the bills.
Thanks so much for linking up with us 🙂 I love to travel too but have not done as much as I would have liked lately! And yes, coffee MUST have flavor.
Thanks for linking up, xoxo
