Logan John (three months)
Three months already? This little man is such a joy to be around. He’s so go-with-the-flow, and happy the majority of the time. And the way he looks at his sisters, Julia especially, just melts my heart.
He’s a little more alert these days, and is actually paying attention to things around him. I forgot how fun it is to watch a baby grow up. But on that note, it’s also a little heartbreaking since he’s most definitely (probably. maybe) our last baby.

Three Month Stats
Nicknames: Logan Bear, Wee Man, Dude, Little Man, Mister Sweet Face, Sir Poops A Lot, Logan Johnny (what Maddie calls him)
Likes: Nursing, watching his sisters, making eye contact with people, being swaddled, the pacifier, sleeping through the night (knock on wood), hanging out on my shoulder, the Dockatot, when we push out his toots, rolling over.
Dislikes: not having anyone around him (he gets lonely), having a dirty diaper, being over tired
Milestones: Rolling over. And can we talk about that for a minute? He rolls from the back to tummy, which is crazy talk since most babies do that between 4-6 months. He stays on his tummy and then occasionally rolls back to his back. He’s also awake more often, and is cooing and blowing more bubbles.
Weight/Height: no official appointment this month, but our scale says he’s close to 14 pounds.
Clothing Size: 3-6…our little man is growing! I should probably start investing in more size 6 stuff, but I’m in denial.
Sleep: I don’t want to talk about it, because we’re in a really good groove right now. He’s the best sleeper out of all my kids so far (6 hours at night!!!!) The Dockatot is turning out to be a lifesaver since he kept rolling over in the bassinet. This keeps him nice and cozy.
Random Tidbits: Besides a bedtime routine, I can’t remember when to get them on a schedule, but I feel like that could be coming soon. He’s pretty much a happy baby as long as he’s not alone and gets to watch what’s going on around him.
How are Mama and Papa Doing?: Good. We’re good. We have moments where all three kids are perfect angels and we want to have 12 more babies. And then the next second they’re all crying/screaming and we are perfectly fine with just the three of them.
I wish we lived close by! With kids so close in age, it would be tons of fun. But I’ll just have to keep stalking your social media right? 😉
